HARRY’S TRIP TO SANTA’S WORKSHOP

Harry the Cat banished to the North Pole
For hollering and biting when “no” he was told

Off to Santa’s workshop Harry went
To work with the elves for nary a cent

Look under pine trees and toadstools
For tiny gnomes with acorns and tools

Wee pixies with bags full of magic and tricks
Love working for Santa, and call him St. Nick

Hasten to Santa’s on flying squirrels
Don’t forget jewelry, diamonds and pearls

Off to Santa’s workshop elves go
Dolls and bears to make and sew

Santa’s gnomes in pointy green hats
Baking chocolate mice and raspberry rats

Rat-a-tat-tat-rum-ti-tum-tum
Lookout Christmas here we come!!!!!

Harry the Green Cat is shown biting his Mom, and getting in big trouble.

Harry is here at Santa's Worship with the elves and some of his animal friends. They are busy making toys for little kitty boys and girls.

Meet Tigger Harry's third cousin from Tennessee, where Tigger was a big star on the University of Tennessee track team, breaking world records for the school.

Harry the Green Cat has just come in from the cold with a wagon full of toys. You can look at the expression on my face, and see that I don't like the ice and cold at the North Pole.

Here are some of Santa's helpers getting ready for the big day.

Harry is admiring a lovely new poinsettia for the holidays.

I want you to meet Larry the Rat, he was so adorable that I decided not to eat him. Also, he can sing, and I taught him to sing, Harry, Harry you're so very extraordinary, Harry! I think his little gingerbread house is just perfect for Larry the Rat.

Oh give me a gnome for me to take home
A jolly little elf to sit on my shelf

HARRY'S LITTLE CHRISTMAS

Mom is putting on my Santa hat, and my friend Pinky is dressed for the holiday too.

I am getting the Christmas Spirit early this year, so when the Big Day comes, Harry will be ready. I plan to have a party and invite all my cat friends to come celebrate with me.
I think this particular Santa Hat is a bit small for my head, it won't stay on. I am thinking about a holiday menu for my party: tuna, Temptation treats, turkey, of course, my red snapper recipe from the Haitian Cooking School run by Auntie Joanna Benoit.
By George, I think I have it looking like Christmas, don't you? I like this picture of me in my Santa Claus costume.
Now let me tell you about my special Christmas tree, designed by me, especially for cats. We have little white mice, and a bird for each day of the Twelve Days of Christmas-oh boy!

Here is a special Cat Christmas stocking that I put together for my party favors: candy cane, Mickey Mouse, pin wheel, and one of my favorites, the chewy little lizards so easy to find in South Florida.

AN ORIGINAL CHRISTMAS POEM WRITTEN BY HARRY THE GREEN CAT

Here comes Santa Claws
for the little kitty girls and boys

Bringing you some Christmas treats
rats and mice, good things to eat

Jingle bells, shiny colored balls
presents and toys for you all

So you better behave, better be nice
don't gamble, don't throw the dice

Sing some pretty Christmas tunes
Santa is bringing coconut macaroons

Try not to climb the Christmas tree
I am Santa, I can see

HARRY'S TRIP TO HAITI

Harry is resting at the El Rancho Hotel in Port-au-Prince Haiti after his American Airlines flight. The sun is so bright that I have on my new cool sunglasses. Also, for the trip see my set of colorful collier necklaces, that is French for carnival jewelry. Harry the Green Cat is looking Cool !!!!!!

Harry packed all of his favorite things for the trip to Haiti: his Garfield mug, his straw hat, his favorite mousie, pink ball, cat nip, and Temptation cat treats. Oh, goodness, I forgot my yellow rubber duckie for the bath tub.

I am thinking about the cooking course tomorrow, Cooking the Haitian Way with Joanna Benoit Alexis.

This is an old fashioned sailor's cap which I will need for boating on the Artibonite River, and do some shrimping too, Yuuum!!!!

This is the beautiful flag of Haiti which represents freedom and independence. The President of Haiti today is Michel Martelly, and he is a musician and very popular with the people of Haiti. The president sings and has a band, how cool is that!!!!!!!

Here is Harry' very best friend Anaiah who is three years old, and Anaiah is Haitian-American, and she is the daughter of Joanna Benoit Alexis, his auntie, and the cooking chef.

Here is Harry with some Haitian decor, lots of great color and lots of fun art and crafts.
Here is my favorite recipe I learned at the Joanna Benoit Alexis Haitian Cooking School. It is Haitian fried red snapper,
delicious and  you will love it.

TRAINING MANUAL FOR BAD KITTIES

HIDING FROM MOM UP BY THE CEILING

Mom is not looking, so I think I will come down from the top of the kitchen cabinets. I am coming down to jump on the refrigerator.

You have to be careful and not break anything or get in more trouble.

Coming down from the refrigerator to the stove top-make sure it is not hot.

HARRY'S DAY AT THE BEACH

HARRY'S DAY AT THE BEACH
We are going to the beach at Palm Beach today, and the waves are high as the winds are brisk. How do you like my new straw hat and Hawaiian beach attire?

Here is my flamingo friend Pinky, he is going to the beach with me and do some fishing. I am not planning on sharing my "booty" with Pinky.

Harry the French Chartreux and Pinky the flamingo are dressed and ready to hit the beach. The snowbirds and snow cats are coming right away, and we want to beat them to the Atlantic Ocean before they get here.

"Pinky the Flamingo and I had a fabulous day at the Beach in Palm Beach and we are now back in our apartment!"

I had a successful day scuba diving. I found a sunken pirate's treasure chest full of coins, jewels, and a tasty fish or two. I am not planning on sharing my "booty" with Pinky. aargh!!!!.

There is nothing in this world as good as fresh seafood, the lobster was exquisite and the scallops were mighty fine, hmmmm delicious.

Harry the Green Cat and the Magic Clam Shell

One of Harry's favorite tricks is drinking spiritual spring water from Lakeland, Florida. He hops in the tub and drinks the spring water from a tiny magic clam shell. After he drinks, he flies out of the tub, and runs like a herd of buffalo thundering  through his apartment, energized by drinking the supernatural potion.

Harry the cat's Halloween costume

Harry's Viking Halloween costume which as you can see, he hates!!!! MOM, I am a French Chartreux, what have you done to me? I am not Swedish, you are. I should be wearing a French beret like Monet.

Hark, I see the tall Viking ships in the North sea, and Harry the noble Viking is ready to conquer and plunder? We will bring back gold, and spices, pumpkins, and mices.

Mom, I hate this stupid Viking hat, and I could just bite your head off. But, I will try to be a good sport since it is Halloween. We cats are coming and we don't want candy, we want rats, lizards, toads, and cat nip please.

Halloween bat brains for breakfast certified by a wicked witch,  so I can put a spell on you. Goblins and Ghouls, candy corn and treats
Spiders and snakes
are out on the streets!!!!!

Harry getting high on cat nip, sniffing and snorting and rolling. His daily treat when coming in from a leash walk.

HARRY THE GREEN CAT'S MODELING CAREER

Here is Harry and his best friend Jingles in a magazine ad for Estelle's. Harry and Jingles are actually eating a  can of tuna which is concealed. Actually they both love the camera and are very photogenic.

Harry is a piano player and a singer and is advertising this antique piano. Harry is a good model for a photo shoot as he is star and likes admiration.

Harry photographs well as he is a handsome rescued French Chartreux. French President Charles de Gaulle owned a Chartreux cat named Gris Gris, and most of the breed lost their lives in World War Two. There were a few breeders at that time and the president's cat to save the lineage.

Harry and his best friend Jingles are posing again for the camera and doing their favorite thing of inspecting furniture. When I would come to work, it was not unusual to find many chests and cabinet doors open from he cat's investigations.

Harry is resting in a favorite spot after a leash walk. He enjoys walking and climbing trees, and eating lots of green grass, a cat's salad, which is very important for their digestion. So, when he comes back to the apartment, he is rewarded with a cat nip roll on the floor which he enjoys.

More news from Harry the Chartreux (green) cat

Harry is waking up for a new day, and then his mom ( that's me) goes to the kitchen for coffee. Then Harry gets a can of Sheba's pate or Bumble Bee tuna, and then Harry goes to the back screen porch and sings an aria to the new day. Soon to come will be an audio of Harry's unusual musical talent. He sings high, he signs low, he trills, and this is the first cat I have ever heard of who actually sings.

Here is Harry, my rescued French Chartreux on the hunt, critters beware as he is a great hunter. I can sometimes let him off his leash/harness and give him a bit of freedom. he is so smart that he comes when I call him.

Harry, my rescued French Chartreux, climbing out of a tree, note his beautiful and graceful action. You just can't take a bad picture of Harry, me, well that is a different story.

.Sandra Estelle Larson, my maid and housekeeper and sometimes computer student, has made so many mistakes on Facebook today that I quit trying to help, and instead am taking a bath. She is just the worst!

Here is Harry, Facebook and computer manager, totally disgusted with all my stupid mistakes. If you want to use the mouse and it is near Harry, he bites with razor sharp teeth, that goes for making up the bed also. He is a strict disciplinarian

Harry the Cat Throws a Party

Several weeks ago when walking in our beautiful Secret Garden here at Century Village West Palm Beach, Florida. I met a lovely couple from Johnstown, PA. and they were leash walking their cat. I leash walk Harry, my cat as it is his only outlet and he came from a 4 acre farm. Cat people instantly connect for some reason, perhaps we like to be controlled? Being creative and an animal nut, came up with the idea of my Harry hosting a breakfast for William and his parents. William totally enjoyed the morning, and had fun with the game of the day, a catnip roll on the floor. William brought a host gift of cat treats which Harry refused to even look at. We parents enjoyed coffee, pastry, fruit, and juice. There will probably be more cat parties since this event was a lot of fun. We hope to see them all again next winter as William and his parents are snow birds.

This is 15 year old William from Johnstown, PA who is also a leash walked cat.

Sweet William was a doll and enjoyed every minute of his breakfast party. You can see his blue harness.

Harry has retreated to the bedroom and has a miffed look on his face like "screw this I'm going back to bed."

Harry is an 8 year old rescued French Chartreux and his expression says a lot, like " what in the heck is going on here?"

Harry is looking at William just a couple of feet away and trying to figure out if this is an ok thing??? Where did that black cat come from?

Harry saw someone who looked threatening, and came back up the stairs. See how strong he is.
